One of America’s top SUVs, the Toyota RAV4 has been updated for 2018 and enters its fifth generation. The car was first shown as the FT-AC concept at the 2018 LA Auto Show and is based on the TNGA (Toyota New Global Architecture) which will underpin future models from the Japanese automaker.
The car will go on sale in the US market by the end of this year and will be offered with the same 2.5-litre petrol powering the Camry and Camry Hybrid sedans. The standard gets an eight-speed AT while the hybrid models will be offered with a CVT.
