Maserati has launched the 2018 Ghibli in India at Rs 1.33 crores. It’s the second sedan in the Italian automaker’s line-up and slots in below the Quatrroporte. This 2018 model is only available as a diesel and across three variants.
The changes for 2018 on the outside comprise a new grille, full LED head lamps, electric power steering, driver assistance systems and new bumpers. The layout of the cabin has not changed but there are some updates for the cabin in terms of features and cabin trim.
The 2018 Ghibli is only being offered with diesel power which in this case is the 3.0-litre Euro 6 compliant V6 motor producing 275bhp/600Nm with power going to the rear wheels via a eight-speed AT. The 2018 Ghibli can be had in two new trim levels- GranLusso and GranSport, both of which comprise cosmetic updates over the standard Ghibli.
Commenting on the launch of the 2018 Ghibli, Bojan Jankulovski, head of operations, Maserati India said, “The new Ghibli stands out for its bold design and progressive technology. And, since the Ghibli has proved to be really successful for Maserati over the years, the new upgraded version will further enable us to pursue its success story.”
