Back at the Geneva Motor Show held earlier this year, German car manufacturer Volkswagen had announced its plans to end production for the Beetle. This time around, the company has showcased the Beetle Final Edition at the 2018 Los Angeles Motor Show. Ending its motoring era in style, the Beetle Final Edition is available in both coupe and cabriolet body styles.
The Final Edition model is available in two unique colours - safari uni and stonewashed blue, along with a range of other regular colour options. To distinguish it from the regular model, it gets chrome highlights, LED taillight, sunroof and a Turbo badge on the tailgate. As for the interior, the vehicle gets a 6.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, leather-wrapped steering wheel, three-colour ambient lighting, stainless steel pedals and safari unicolour dash pad with the classic Beetle bin.
Mechanically, the Volkswagen Beetle Final Edition vehicle will be powered by a 2.0-litre TSI engine that develops 172bhp and 250Nm of torque.
