2018 Wrangler has already been spotted testing earlier
- These might be homologation test cars
- Launch expected by end of 2018, early 2019
Both three-door and five-door versions of the 2018 Jeep Wrangler have landed in India undisguised. Images of test mules had already been spotted before and now the undisguised units being unloaded in India are suggestive of homologation.
The 2018 Jeep Wrangler gets an entirely new design but it isn’t visually different from its predecessor. The vertically slatted grille continues to be the signature feature at the front with those round headlamps on the flanks. The headlamps get LED units inside and the fog lamps are separately mounted on the front bumper. The tail design is also new, but the overall box-shape body has been retained.
As a matter of fact, the 2018 Wrangler is not yet available globally in the right-hand drive form and it is expected to be built by the end of this year for the UK market. The same car will be introduced in India too since the current Indian-spec Wrangler is a CBU anyway. So, if the homologation is already in process, we might get the 2018 Wrangler almost at the same time as UK.
