Hyundai is celebrating the new-gen Verna's first anniversary by introducing a special edition of the sedan. Over this period of one year, the carmaker has sold over 79,608 units of this new Verna. And, now to mark this success, prospective buyers can get this special trim in exclusive colours and new features. This picture gallery will take you through all of this in detail.
The Verna anniversary edition is based on the top-spec SX (O) variant. While the petrol gets the option of both manual and automatic transmission, the diesel comes only with the manual.
Hyundai is offering this Anniversary Edition in two new body colours - marina blue (which we've seen on the Elantra) and polar white.
Other than the new exterior colours, the carmaker has also added a body kit to enhance the visual appeal of the car.
There are faux silver coloured skid plates both at the front and rear. This complements the exterior and goes well with the new marina blue colour.
Small additions like a shark-fin antenna and a rear duck tail spoiler have also helped in adding a little zing.
From the pictures it’s clear that ORVMs and the antenna on the Marina blue car are finished in black. But we are also told that the Polar white version gets them in the same colour as the body.
Another important aspect that the car wears an anniversary badge to distinguish it from the regular sedan. It also hints at exclusivity.
Inside too, there's black upholstery with contrast blue stitching and a black dashboard with blue colour accents on the air-con vents.
Like the top-of-the-line Creta, this anniversary edition gets wireless phone charging in addition to the sunroof and ventilated seats that the Verna’s top variant already comes loaded with.
