-Booking open from today
-Petrol and CNG power

Bookings for the Hyundai Santro have opened from today and its official- the car will be offered across nine variants and seven colour options. The variant-wise break up is seven petrol trims, two CNG powered trims and of these the AMT (automated manual transmission) is only being offered in the mid-level Magna and Sportz variants.
The variants on offer are Dlite, Era, Magna, Sportz and Asta which is a top-of-the-line model. We had brief preview of this variant when the car was unveiled yesterday and you can read about that here. There is no top-of-the-line AMT variant and this we suspect is planned update for this entry-level hatchback at a later date.
Hyundai has also revealed the colour palette for the Santro and there will seven shades on offer- Grey, blue, red, white, beige (the colour of the car in the photos), silver and green. The last shade appears to be a unique offering and was a shade that was offered on the original pre-Xing Santro.
This new Santro is Hyundai’s rival for the likes of the Maruti Suzuki Celerio, Tata Tiago and the Maruti Suzuki Wagon R and the Datsun Go Plus in the entry-level B-segment of the Indian car market. Â
