2018 Hyundai Creta launched at Rs 9.43 lakhs

- New cascade front grille, new DRL and fog-lamps design

- New alloy wheel design, new tail lamps

- Tweaked interiors, same engine options as before

Hyundai has launched the facelifted version of their most popular SUV, the Hyundai Creta, for a price tag of Rs 9.43 lakh, ex-showroom Delhi. It gets two new colour options, orange and blue and also the dual tone colour schemes of orange and white with a black roof. The pricing of the new Creta is almost at par with the previous version and it now gets a sunroof as well.

The new Creta gets the revised signature cascade grille that debuted with Xcent. The headlamps look almost the same but get a new DRL signature and all-blacked out internals. The bumper gets a more prominent bash-plate with a redesign for the fog-lamps as well. While the profile is the same, the new design of the alloys adds a bit of sportiness. The tail lamps also get new internals along with subtle design tweaks to the rear bumper.

The already plush cabin of the Creta has received minor tweaks like the contrasting metallic finish on the air-con vents. In the top-spec Creta, you now get six-way adjustable driver seat, electric sunroof, wireless mobile charger and cruise control. In terms of safety, the six-airbag package with rear-camera for parking has also been continued.

Under the hood, the 1.6-litre petrol comes with a six-speed manual and a six-speed automatic gearbox. The 1.4-litre diesel gets a five-speed gearbox only while the 1.6-litre diesel gets both manual and automatic six-speed options. The 2018 Hyundai Creta comeptes with the likes of the Renault Duster, the Renault Captur and the Nissan Terrano in the Indian car market.
