The next-gen 2018 Honda CR-V has been caught on test again, this time around in Germany. The forthcoming crossover will be noticeably bigger in size as Honda is looking to make the CR-V more upscale in its class.
Design wise, the 2018 CR-V is said to be inspired from the HR-V and other recent Honda models. This means a sleeker and bolder looking design compared to the existing model. Going by the spy pictures, the CR-V does look like it’s longer than the current model – probably to accommodate the rumoured seven-seater version.
Mechanically, engines options will be changed, with a 1.5-litre turbocharged four-cylinder unit as a possible option. A plug-in hybrid variant should be in the pipeline, too. We expect the next-gen CR-V to arrive in the global markets by the middle of 2017.
