Ford has launched the 2018 iteration of the Aspire for the Indian market. Coming to the variants, the facelifted compact sedan is offered in five trims - Ambiente, Trend, Trend+, Titanium and Titanium+. A segment-first five-year warranty is being offered with the sedan. In terms of safety, features like dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors and front row seatbelt reminder will be offered as standard across all variants. Let's take a look at what differentiate the variants apart.
Ambiente
The base Ambiente variant now comes equipped with features like front power windows, air-conditioning, tilt steering and fabric seats with adjustable headrests apart from the usual equipment.
Trend
A level up, the Trend variant gets all-four power windows, passenger vanity mirror, rear centre armrest and an audio system with four speakers, radio, USB and Bluetooth. It also features a gearshift indicator, tachometer, body-coloured ORVMs with integrated turn signals, remote keyless entry, and a boot lamp.
Trend+
Apart from the features from the Trend variant, the Trend+ variant gets additional front fog lamps, automatic climate control, rear defogger and a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system.
Titanium
Now, on to the top-of-the-line trims. This Titanium variant gets a chrome grille and push button start apart from the features from trims mentioned above. There's a six-speed automatic transmission model but only available on this Titanium trim. Additionally, this automatic version also comes equipped with hill start assist, ESP and traction control.
Titanium+
The top-spec Titanium+ variant is packed with all the equipment one can expect. It gets features like a 6.5-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, Ford Sync3, emergency assistance service, dual USB ports and dual front, side and curtain airbags.
