Now the car is already being tested on the streets and you can have a look at our exclusive story here. Ford unveiled a short teaser video at the ongoing 2018 Detroit Motor Show. In the video, Ford shows the original Shelby GT500 on the go and then shedding its skin (get the snake bit?) to be born into the latest 2019 GT500. The exhilarating video shows us the car in parts like the blacked out wheels, front bumper and splitter, the wing along with a mean exhaust note.
The video also claims the car to have a power output of over to 700bhp from the same supercharged 5.2 litre V8. The 7-speed dual-clutch transmission from the Ford GT is expected to back the engine. This one’s sure to give the Dodge Demon a run for its money with some outrageous acceleration and quarter mile times. Expect the car to be launched early next year. Exciting times ahead!
