The Bentley Continental GT has always been known to offer a fine blend of performance and world-class luxury equipment. This time around, images of the 2018 Bentley Continental GT has surfaced online indicating a more athletic look as compared to its predecessor. Moreover, the company claims that the new model weighs about 80kgs lighter than the older generation.
Under the hood, the new Continental GT will get a 6-litre twin-turbocharged W12 engine that generates 617bhp of power and 900Nm of torque. The powerful engine comes mated to a twin-clutch gearbox that powers the active all-wheel-drive system. The new Continental GT accelerates from 0 to 100kmph in just n3.7 seconds, and is capable of achieving a top speed of 333kmph.
The front features the latest LED Matrix technology that utilizes the finest cut-crystal glasses that offer three-dimensional depth. The front also gets the iconic large grille on the front.
The rear also gets a radical styling in the form of new tail lamps shaped into ellipses and twin oval exhaust tail pipes. The tail lamps gets a cut-crystal effect with three dimensional depth.
The interior gets sustainably sourced veneers which includes Koa, Bentley's newest veneer, along with hand-polished chrome detailing. The car gets a large 12.3-inch retina-quality digital MMI display.
The centre console is finished to match the lower fascia, but can be specified in a new technical finish which is inspired by the delicate mechanical surfacing inside the finest automatic Swiss watches, known as the Cotes de Geneve. Looking at the intricate details, the car also gets bronze inserts between the primary control surface.
