We have spotted the 2017 Volkswagen Vento with a new headlamp design and a few tweaks inside as well. The car was out being shot for a commercial which means, the launch is just around the corner. The new headlamps might be offered only with the highline trim to keep the price tag of the entry-level car at par with the competition.
The new 2017 Vento is the fifth update to the sedan since its launch in 2010. While the looks have been carried over it gets twin-barrel headlamps with daytime running lamps. The LED DRLs add a touch of premium along with the chrome strip that runs along the length of the front bumper. The profile, alloys and the tail design are exactly the same as the current Vento.
From what we see, there are hardly any changes in the cabin. There might be a few nips and tucks in the beige and black interior and possibly a few additions to the equipment list. The diesel engine has been updated a few months back and will continue unchanged along with the 1.6-litre petrol manual and the 1.2-litre turbo-petrol automatic gearbox options. The 1.5-litre diesel also comes with a five-speed manual and a seven-speed automatic.
