2017 Tokyo Motor Show to host the Nissan Juke EV concept

Nissan has told reporters that their upcoming Juke e-Power concept (EV) will be unveiled at the Tokyo Auto Show in October 2017.

Nissan earlier promised that the new Juke would be ready in 2017, and it seems obvious that the e-Power version will take on the fresh design before being showcased with the rest of the line-up at Tokyo. Nissan also relayed that the new Juke is expected to borrow heavily from the styling cues of the Gripz concept which was first unveiled in 2015. 

Powering the Nissan e-Power will be the hybrid powerplant from the brand’s Note e-Power that uses a three-cylinder 1.2-litre petrol engine coupled to an electric motor. It will not get a plug-in option as all of the electricity produced from the engine will be directed to power the electric motor. Reports state that the battery pack will be neatly tucked under the front seats so that none of the passenger’s useable interior space is lost.
