Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL) will flag off the 9th edition of Maruti Suzuki Dakshin Dare Rally this Sunday. It will start in Bengaluru and conclude in Pune on 22 July.
The event will begin from Orion Mall, Rajaji Nagar, Bengaluru on 16 July and the first leg of the rally will begin the next morning. The participants will cover about 2,200kms over a period of six days through the journey. This is the first time that the rally is being conducted in Pune, where the prize distribution ceremony will also take place.
Dakshin Dare is an annual Southern motorsport rally, which is also one of MSIL's biggest motorsport events. This year, the Dakshin Dare rally will traverse through Bengaluru, Chitradurga, Belgaum, Kolhapur and Pune. Over 200 participants from across the country are expected to participate this year.
