Jeep has revealed the India-bound Compass ahead of its official launch in August this year. The upcoming SUV is the first locally assembled model for Jeep in India. So here below, read on to find out more about the Jeep Compass.
The Indian facility will be used for Compass production for the right-hand-drive markets. The five-seat SUV measures 4,398mm in length long, 1,667mm height and 1,819mm wide.
The Jeep Compass gets LED elements in the headlamps as well as the tail-lamps. Production for the vehicle begins in June this year.
The bold front bumper holds the round foglamps fog lamps encasedin the black mesh grille which is surrounded by chrome element. It also features LED DRL’s that complement the overall aesthetics.
The front section gets the familiar seven-slot grille that renders givesit a masculine appeal.
The Jeep Compass gets a traditional squared-off wheel arches along with the large 17-inch alloys. The suspension system borrowed from the Renegade has been mildly altered.
The rear section looks sporty with raked glass and a flowing-down roofline. The interior will be similar like tothe onee which was showcased in Geneva.
