The 2017 Jaguar XE is now available to order in the UK and will be priced at £26,990 (Rs 27.30 lakh). Already established as one of the most dynamic sports saloons in the mid-sized segment, a host of technological advancements promises to keep it competitive.
The XE’s light, stiff, advanced aluminium architecture, sophisticated suspension and powerful, efficient engines make it the driver’s car in its class. The new XE adds InControl Touch Pro (Jaguar’s next-generation infotainment system), torque on demand all-wheel drive (available with 2.0-litre 177 bhp diesel variant), Adaptive Surface Response (assists AWD with changes to powertrain maps and dynamic stability control) and F-Type similar Configurable Dynamics (select throttle settings, gear shifts and damping). These upgrades provide the driver with superior confidence in all-weather conditions.
Additional updates include a Wi-fi hotspot for up to eight devices and an Apple watch app that offers remote functions including fuel level check, lock and unlock and remote engine starts. While the range comprises of the SE, Prestige, R-Sport, Portfolio and the S, the engine options available are:

177 bhp 2.0-litre diesel manual/ automatic RWD, automatic AWD
197 bhp 2.0-litre petrol automatic RWD

Sources at Jaguar mentioned that an announcement will be made in due course on when the new XE will hit the Indian market in 2016.
