Ford will add a new range-topping TitaniumS variant to the upcoming EcoSport line-up. The latest spyshots completely reveal the details of the final production version that will soon be launched.
This Ford EcoSport TitaniumS variant seen in the picture features bigger and darker 17-inch five-spoke alloys as against the silver ones we've seen earlier. We can expect a blackened grille and black headlamp bezels too on this trim. The other exterior changes on this facelifted model remain the same as seen in the earlier spy pictures. This includes a hexagonal front grille, re-profiled headlamps and a new front bumper housing with redesigned set of fog lamps.
The images also reveal the changes in the cabin of the refreshed EcoSport. The dashboard with an all-black treatment now gets orange highlights around the centre console and even on the door trim to add to the appeal. The most prominent change is the floating touchscreen for the SNYC 3 enabled infotainment setup on the redesigned centre console. A close observation also reveals that there are two USB ports placed just below the updated aircon controls. The steering wheel is updated too with additional buttons and the new instrument console gets a simpler setup along with a MID placed between the tachometer and speedometer.
The upcoming Ford EcoSport facelift will be powered by a 1.5-litre, three-cylinder Dragon series petrol engine. This mill produces 121bhp of power and 150Nm of peak torque. On the other hand, there will also be a diesel option with a five-speed manual transmission standard across the range.
This facelifted EcoSport will bring in the first major update to the compact SUV since its launch in June 2013. Dealerships have started to receive the new stock and bookings might open soon. Stay tuned for the car's first drive report as we will be driving the car in the coming week. Meanwhile, Ford is expected to launch the car on 9 November, when all the variant-wise prices will be out.
