2016 Porsche 911 spotted on test

Following the previous set of spy shots of the 911 Turbo and the 911 Targa, the 2016 911 Carrera has been caught on camera. Spotted wearing little in terms of camouflage, the new 911 will benefit from subtle styling tweaks, more luxurious cabin and more efficient engine options. 

The biggest news though is the speculated introduction of turbocharging for the new 911 range with certain models from the flat six engine range featuring forced induction for the first time.   

The 2016 911 range is expected to arrive at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September, with official sales beginning sometime next year.
