The 2016 Mitsubishi Pajero Sport will make its global debut at the 2015 Bangkok Motor Show which is slated to begin tomorrow. The 2016 Pajero Sport will be offered in three variants for the Thai market.
They are the GLS, GT and the GT AWD which are expected to be priced in the range of 1.13 million Baht to 1.45 Baht (Rs 20.74 lakh to Rs 26.43 lakh).
We have seen the vehicle in the flesh thanks to a plethora of spy shots and even know what the cabin will be like as well as the feature options on the top-spec model. What is new will be the 2.4-litre four-cylinder engine that has been borrowed from the Triton pick-up truck. It produces 180bhp and 430Nm of torque. This mill is available with a six-speed manual or a six-speed AT.
We in India are likely to get the new Pajero Sport by the middle of next year with marginal change in prices as compared to the current car.
