2016 Lexus RX spotted on test

The 2016 Lexus RX has been spotted on test in Europe. This fourth generation car is expected to be unveiled at the 2015 NAIAS Motor Show later this week and is likely to reach production form within the next few months. It is the Japanese luxury automaker’s mid-sized crossover and gets changes in the form of increased size and some cosmetic updates. 

Changes at the front include a revised grille as well as full LED headlights. The side profile remains the same while the rear gets revised tail lamps and new exhaust tips . However, the overall box(ish) design has been retained. 

We believe that a lot of the interior design will be retained from the current car but with some obvious upgrades in terms of technology. The RX is expected to continue with the RX350, RX350 F and the RX450h as the models in the lineup. 

Toyota had earlier announced plans to bring Lexus to India but has not taken any official steps in this regard  till date. We believe that the RX range of vehicles will be a part of Toyota’s strategy for Lexus if and when they bring the cars to India.
