Since the launch of the convertible model in 2013 and addition of the coupe in 2014, Jaguar has sold over 7,000 units of the F-Type in the United States, with sales increasing by 83 per cent in 2014. With the 2016 F-Type, the British automaker has expanded the model range and included a better warranty and maintenance package.
The 2016 F-Type range will hit the showrooms starting April. The line-up now includes all-wheel drive and manual gearbox equipped models. As far as additional equipment is concerned, the 2016 range includes a high-end surround sound system, keyless entry and fully power-adjustable seats. The coupe range also gets a panoramic glass roof as standard while the higher-spec R coupe models feature an electric tailgate.
The 2016 F-Type range in the US starts at $65,000 (Rs 40.38 lakh) for the base spec manual version, going all the way up to $106,450 (Rs 66.13 lakh) for the R convertible version. All-wheel drive models, meanwhile, cost $84,800 (Rs 52.68 lakh) and $87,900 (Rs 54.61 lakh) for coupe and convertible versions respectively.
