The replacement for the Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 has been digitally rendered by TopSpeed. The rendering seems to be heavily influenced by the current model, though it does feature a few cosmetic and aerodynamic updates.
The rendering shows Camaro ZL1 sporting a revised front fascia, thanks to a new grille and LED DRLs. The wider air intakes and the front splitter give it an aggressive look, which complements the side skirts and the dark alloy wheels. We can expect a slight bump in the performance of the new Camaro ZL1, though it will retain the 6.2-litre V8 engine that develops 580bhp and 753Nm of torque in the current car. We can also expect the car to feature better aerodynamics to improve the car’s stability.
The Camaro ZL1 will be a performance-focussed version of the Camaro, which will sit below the Z/28 in the muscle car’s line-up. It is expected to go on sale in the US by the end of this year, as a 2016 model.
