Following multiple teasers and a plethora of spy shots, the new 2016 Chevrolet Camaro will finally mark its official arrival on May 16. Chevrolet has even released a new teaser, in the run up to the launch of the muscle car.
The 2016 model appears to have carried over the design of the current Camaro but could be longer and lower. Chevrolet has worked extra hard on aerodynamic efficiency of the new Camaro, with 350 hours of wind tunnel testing, often 24 hours a day. The new Camaro will slip more easily through the wind, and the high-performance Camaro SS will have a marked improvement in reduced aerodynamic lift.
Chevrolet has already revealed that the new Camaro will be offered with multiple drive modes to deal with a variety of terrains. The SS versions will get a track mode, an optional magnetic ride control system as well a dual-mode exhaust system.
On sale since 1966 in America, the Camaro is one of the most popular muscle cars of all time. The 2016 model will be the sixth generation of the vehicle when it officially arrives later this month.
