Porsche is currently busy testing the facelifted version of its Cayenne luxury SUV. Dubbed the 2015 Cayenne, this new model has been spied undergoing testing ahead of its forthcoming official launch. As is usually the case with facelifted versions, the 2015 Cayenne sports discreetly redesigned exterior and updated interiors.
At the front, there’s a new shape bumper, an updated grille and a redesigned pair of headlights. Porsche has also updated the design for the daytime running lights. Though virtually disguised, the rear end seems to have been altered the most, with the tail lights seemingly taking inspiration from the smaller Macan mid-size SUV.
Under the hood, Porsche is expected to continue with the same set of V6 and V8 petrol and diesel engines for the 2015 Cayenne. Having said that, Porsche could introduce an E-Hybrid version with a V6 3-litre engine mated to an electric motor to provide a total power output of 416bhp and 589Nm of torque.
According to World Car Fans who managed to snag the test mule, Porsche is expected to launch the 2015 Cayenne in a few weeks. Expect Porsche to add this new model to its India line up, soon after its global launch.
