The Nissan Nismo GT-R has been showcased at the 2015 New York Auto Show. It is the most aggressive version of Nissan’s flagship coupe and is currently one of the top five record holders at the famous Green Hell/ Nordschleife.
In a true Japanese anime fashion, this version, the 2016 GT-R, sports the same fascia and side profile as the standard car but gets a carbon fibre body kit which lends some extra muscle to the overall appearance. At the rear, Nissan has fitted the Nismo GT-R with a large wing and a diffuser package with side vents for extra cooling.
The interior has all the features of the standard car but now wrapped in a sporty alacantera trim. The seats are multi-coloured with a large red sashes in the middle but we suspect that this can be customised as per the taste of the owners.
The Nismo GT-R gets the same 3.8-litre twin-turbo V6 engine from the standard car but now tuned to produce 600bhp and 651Nm of torque. Power is sent to all four-wheels via a six-speed sequential gearbox and an AWD system.
