The 2015 Holden Cruze has been unveiled for the Australia market. It gets a host of cosmetic updates as well as more features across the range. However, the biggest change is that the base 1.4-litre petrol engine and the diesel range for the sedan have been dropped altogether.
The facia gets changes in the form of a revised bumper whose bling factor has been upped thanks to a chrome garnish and LED running lamps.
The side profile remains the same with the all variants getting OVRMs with integrated indicators. The lower spec models gets 17-inch alloy wheels while the higher spec models get 18-inch wheels. Also incluced in the updates is remote start and rain sensing wipers. The equipment list and interior design remains the same as the outgoing model but Chevrolet has now fitted suede seat inserts.
On the engine front, the base 1.4-litre petrol and 2.0-litre diesel engine have been removed from the list. This means that the land down under now gets only the 1.6-litre turbo petrol and 1.8-litre petrol that produce 177bhp and 139bhp respectively. Gearbox options include a six-speed manual and a six-speed AT.
The Australian market gets the Cruze in sedan, hatchback and estate form. Prices for the range start from 19,890 AUD (Rs 10 lakh) all the way to 26,840 AUD (Rs 13.60 lakh).
