Pininfarina has turned one of its famed creations into production with the Ferrari Sergio. After unveiling it as a concept in 2013, the Italian design house has revealed the production-spec Ferrari Sergio albeit in extremely limited numbers.
Based on the Ferrari 458 Spider, the Ferrari Sergio will be limited to just six examples, with each configured in individual exterior paint and interior options. As it turns out, the first vehicle has already been delivered to its owner.
The Ferrari Sergio gets a 4.5-litre V8 engine that makes nearly 600bhp of power. The same engine also powers the hard-core 458 Speciale and the regular 458 Italia.
The Sergio, you'll remember, is Ferrari's tribute to its ongoing relationship with Pininfarina, which this year celebrates 60 years of partnership. As such, there was only going to ever be one name for the car that marks this anniversary: Pininfarina founder, Sergio.
