The 2014 Volkswagen Polo has been spied testing in Death Valley, the lowest, the hottest and the driest place in North America. It is likely that the German manufacturer is testing to see if the 2014 Polo sustains this grim and challenging terrain.
The test mule was camouflaged at the front end making us believe that the car will get some upgrades including a redesigned grille, new bumpers and new headlamp units. There is also a possibility of the 2014 model getting a new dashboard along with updated infotainment system and few other systems.
The mechanical bits of the car is still in the rumour phase with the famous one being that the car may get a 1.0-litre three-cylinder TSI engine. However, we would like to wait for an official announcement from Volkswagen.
