A new batch of spy photos of the 2014 Mercedes-Benz C-Class, completely undisguised, are now circulating on the Internet. They were taken while a commercial was being shot on this AMG styling package-equipped variant.
The interior design of the C-Class has already been revealed by the German automaker and follows much of the German automaker’s design philosophy for the MFA vehicles. While expectations were that it would be radically different from the present C-Class, it is not the case. The automaker has borrowed styling cues from the A-Class, CLA and the more recent S-Class. The headlights seem to have been taken from the facelifted E-Class while the exhaust setup mimics that of the S-Class.
In terms of the engine line-up, it is expected to stay the same as before; a range of four-cylinder petrol and diesel engines all mated to seven-speed automatic gearboxes. The range is now also expected to get a hybrid like its larger siblings.
The car is scheduled for a January 2014 debut at the Detroit Motor Show.
