Bentley has officially revealed the details of the new 2014 Flying Spur after the leaked images hit the internet. The new four-door luxury sedan is set for an official debut at the Geneva Motor Show in couple of weeks.
The Flying Spur has always looked like a Continental GT with extra doors, but the new version has slightly different design cues. The new headlamps now get daytime running lights – like all the new Bentleys. There are few changes to the side as well, while the most noticeable difference is to the rear with the revised horizontal tail lamp cluster.
The new model will be powered by a 6.0-litre twin turbocharged W12 engine pumping sizable 616bhp and 800Nm of torque. The Flying Spur gets the standard eight-speed ZF gearbox with all-wheel-drive that has 40:60 rear-biased torque split. The updates also make it quicker with 0 to 100kph time down to 4.3 seconds and top-speed up to 322kph.
The additions to the interiors make it more luxurious and improved sound insulation has further reduced the cabin noise. The Flying Spur is packed with features and there are few more that can be added thru options list.
The 2014 model will be available in India post global launch, just like most other Bentleys – on order as a CBU (Completely Built Unit).
