Bentley has launched the 2014 Flying Spur luxury sedan for Rs 3.1 Crore (ex-showroom Delhi). The car was unveiled at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show in March. It features a similar design to that of the Continental GT and Continental GTC but thanks to the four doors and slight modification all around, it looks pretty unique.
The front fascia of the Flying Spur is very similar to the continental GT but it now gets LED daytime running lights. On the sides, the roofline has been lowered in a bid to make the flying spur more aerodynamically efficient.
Changes also extend to the rear where there is a completely new tail lamp cluster but continues with the same bumper and twin chrome exhausts. Bentley has also upgraded the interiors to include higher quality materials and a new infotainment system.
The engine remains the same as before; a 6.0-litre twin turbo W12 that produces 616bhp and 800Nm of torque. Power is transmitted to all four wheels via a four-wheel drive system and a ZF eight-speed automatic transmission. This power results in the Flying Spur rocketing from 0-100kmph in 4.3 seconds and then go on to hit a top speed of 322kmph.
The car will be sold via Exclusive Motors, the official dealers of Bentley and Bugatti for the Indian market. Check out more details of the 2014 Flying Spur.
