2013 Skoda Octavia and Mk7 Volkswagen Golf spotted testing in Mumbai

The 2013 Skoda Octavia and the Mk7 Volkswagen Golf have been spied testing on the roads of Mumbai.  This the second time in less than two days that the Octavia has been spied in testing; a red coloured car without camouflage was snapped in Bengaluru on the fourth of April. This is also the second appearance for the Mk7 Golf; it was earlier spotted testing outside Pune. 

The2013 Octavia was launched globally in October last year and is expected to reach our shores in June. It is expected to include the sporty vRS version and is likley to replace the Laura range of cars in the Indian market. 

The VW Mk7 Golf is was unveiled during the 2012 Paris Motor Show and shares many of its components with the Audi A3, 2013 Skoda Octavia as well as the Seat Leon thanks to the German automaker’s MQB platform. However, it is unlikely to be launched in our market anytime soon due to various reasons chief of which is most likely the price of the car if it is launched here.
