Suzuki Motor Corporation has unveiled the all new SX4 Crossover at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show. The SX4 crossover is a production model based on the S-Cross concept, which was unveiled at the 2012 Paris Motor Show.
The SX4 Crossover has a distinctive styling with a bold, sporty crossover shape, strong lines and good aerodynamics. The car features the next generation four-wheeled drive with ALLGRIP technology and has four driver-selectable driving modes for better performance.
The SX4 Crossover will be available in two engine options, i.e., 1.6-litre petrol and 1.6-litre diesel engine. The 1.6-litre engine is mated to a five-speed manual transmission. It also gets a CVT transmission that has an auxiliary transmission that helps to extend the range of gear ratios. The SX4 Crossover also features which the company claims is the world’s first double sliding glass panoramic sunroof.
We hope Suzuki plans to introduce this model in India. Though, the SX4 never really enjoyed much success in India, this is a different story. The SX4 crossover will compete with the Renault Duster and the Ford EcoSport; of course many of its features will be stripped before India debut.
