Bentley is showcasing the new Continental GT3 racer at the Paris Motor Show, which is the fastest-ever Bentley road car. Though it is just a concept for now, the company has confirmed that its debut marks their return to motorsports after almost 10 years.
The new Bentley Continental GT3 racer is expected to enter motorsports by the end of 2013 and will compete in multiple series and events. The technical details of the GT3 have not been revealed as yet, but we are expecting scorching numbers from this FIA supported racer with rear-drive chassis, aero package and skilled set of technicians working on the development.
The last time Bentley competed on track was in 2003, when they won at the 24 Hours Le Mans. This new car will once again be will fight with same Bentley philosophy - racing cars developed from their road-going counterparts.
