This year’s Frankfurt Motor Show became the venue for the debut of a limited edition Peugeot 508 RXH. Deliveries for the car, which will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis, will start from March 2012 in Europe. Characterised by a diesel-electric hybrid powertrain, the 508 RXH is a unique car where a 163bhp 2-litre diesel engine drives the front wheels while a 37bhp electric motor powers the rear axle. As a result combined peak power output stands at 200bhp while maximum torque is at 450Nm.
Creature comforts in the 508 RXH will include Alcantara upholstery, electric tail gate opening/closing, heated seats with memory function, quad-zone air conditioning, parking sensors and a JBL music system, among others.
