1,961 units of the Maruti Suzuki Dzire AMT have been recalled for inspection and replacement of a faulty fuel filter. The automaker will individually contact those whose cars are being recalled, starting May 31. The inspection, as well as replacement of the fuel filter will be done free of cost.
To see if their vehicles are included in the recall, owners may check at www.marutisuzuki.com for their model. They are requested to fill in the chassis number (MA3 followed by 14-digit alpha-numeric number). The chassis number is embossed on the vehicle ID plate and is also in the vehicle invoice/registration documents.
