Honda Cars India has launched a new VX(O) variant for the Brio and the Amaze. This particular variant will be positioned above the existing VX variant in manual transmission in both petrol and diesel. It gets the audio-video navigation and few new add-ons.
The new variants of the Brio and the Amaze features white illumination speedometer with blue gradation and newly designed OVRMs. This system features a 15.7cm touch screen that is loaded with maps, satellite-based voice guided navigation along with in-car entertainment and connectivity features. The system also comes with an integrated Bluetooth communication function that lets the user sync their phone to access various phone features. The foldable OVRMs and rear defogger are now available from the SX variant of the Amaze, which is a good move by the Japanese manufacturer.
The Honda Brio and the Amaze is powered by a 1.2-litre i-VTEC engine that produces 87bhp and 109Nm of torque. The diesel Amaze gets a 1.5-litre oil burner that churns out 99bhp at 3,600rpm and maximum torque of 200Nm at 1,750rpm.
