The interior of the India- spec Renault Lodgy has been revealed. The MPV has been spotted on the Chennai-Bengaluru highway probably not too far from the Renault-Nissan plant. The pictures reveal that the car will share much of the design with its European counterpart.
The cabin looks very similar to the one in the Renault Duster AWD. This includes a twin-tone dashboard, three-spoke wheel with audio controls and a chrome garnished instrument console. While it has not been revealed in the pictures, we expect that at least the top-spec versions will get an infotainment system, climate control as well as AC vents and controls for the second and third row.
On the engine front, the Lodgy will be powered by the 1.5-litre K9K diesel engine that will be offered in the 108bhp state of tune. Power is sent to the front wheels via a six-speed manual transmission. We expect that it will be priced in the range of Rs 6.5 lakh to Rs 10 lakh where it will compete with the Chevrolet Enjoy, Honda Mobilio and the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga.
