A heavily camouflaged test mule of the 2015 Audi Q3 has been spotted testing by an automobile website. This new version of the compact crossover is expected to debut at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show.
There aren’t many details evident from the spy shots but the mule is seen wearing a revised grille, slightly restyled headlamps and new dual exhaust system. The styling changes could be more than what is evident to the eye and the updated model might also get revised bumpers and changes to the interiors.
The updated model is expected to use the same engine and transmission options as seen on the current car. In India, the Q3 is available with two engine and transmission options. A 2.0-litre TFSI petrol engine producing 208bhp and 300Nm of torque mated to a seven-speed automatic gearbox powering all four wheels. The diesel engine is a 2.0-litre unit that is available with two power options of 140bhp/320Nm of torque and 174bhp/380Nm of torque. A six-speed manual transmission and a seven-speed autobox are mated to this engine and are available in front-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive versions respectively. Expect the 2015 Audi Q3 to be launched in India within six to eight months from the date of its global debut.
