The facelifted version of the Porsche Cayenne was spotted testing recently. This variant is expected to be introduced in 2015 making changes to the present second-generation Porsche Cayenne which was launched in 2010.
The new Porsche Cayenne is expected to share the traits from the newly styled Macan and the latest Panamera. The pictures clicked by spy photographers show the camouflaged headlights and tail lamps and can be mistaken to be the final ones. Nevertheless, the actual ones on the production version of the SUV might be similar to the ones on the Macan. The disguised front and rear bumpers hide the details but they are expected to carry the design lines from the siblings.
The vehicle is expected to be powered by a 3.0-litre twin-turbocharged V6 petrol engine which will be able to churn out 414bhp of power and 520Nm of torque. This engine variant will then replace the naturally aspirated V8 engine currently producing around 395bhp. The V6 plug-in hybrid powertrain from the Panamera S E-Hybrid might be introduced in this Cayenne range as well.
The German automaker might not just concentrate on the exteriors of the car alone but bring in a load of changes to the interior as well. The revised car might be unveiled sometime next year.
