A fully camouflaged car spotted testing is Italy is international news and tends to happen on a daily basis. However, it’s a surprise when an Indian car (in RHD configuration) is spotted testing on foreign soil. This time it is our home-grown Indica Vista Facelift that has been spotted testing in Turin (an Italian automotive hub) by an Italian website Quattroroute.
The interesting part is what was the vehicle doing in Italy? Is it an international model being tested there? The spotted car a Falcon 4 (Vista Facelift) is a right hand drive model, clearly evident from the pictures. Tata seem to have shipped the car from India there for testing in Italian roads which have a mix of everything, right from pothole ridden roads, winding roads to some fast highways, but it doesn’t sound convincing enough, does it?
We tell you why, not many know but the Vista is also sold in Italy with a 1.4-litre petrol and an alternate fuel variant. The best part is the Falcon 4 might get a more powerful engine and might be on test for the same. It is a given that alternate fuels are the way ahead, will the Indian market also get the Falcon 4 with a bi-fuel kit mated to the 1.4-litre petrol motor? It seems like there is a lot coming from the Indian manufacturer in 2014.
