Renault has been testing the facelift of the Fluence in India for quite some time now. It was previously spotted in South India and now new images of the car being tested make us believe that the French carmaker is preparing to unveil the revised car for the Indian market.
The spy shots taken by photographers at MotorVikatan show the vehicle being tested with bare minimum hiding. The badges and bonnet are the ones which are camouflaged. Other evident changes like a new front grille, updated bumper with fog lamps also adorning DRLs, side cladding and a different design for the alloys can be clearly seen on the vehicle in the picture.
This revised version of the Fluence sedan is already on sale in the European market. The interiors of this version see a host of features like new upholstery, an infotainment system with LCD screen, front and rear parking sensors and automatic parking brakes. Though there are no confirmations, but it is likely that these may notably be the highlights of the advancements in the India-bound model.
Renault India’s Managing Director, Marc Nassif, had announced recently that the car maker had no plans of launching a new product in 2014. The manufacturer would focus on introducing changes to the existing products in the Indian car portfolio. So with the Lodgy ruled out, we think the facelifts will include the Fluence, Duster and the Koleos. We hope Renault unveils these facelifts at the upcoming Delhi Auto Expo or atleast gives us a glimpse of them.
