McLaren has unveiled the 50 12C limited edition in Hong Kong. McLaren Hong Kong, General Manager Mr.Max Cheng proudly announced, “Today is a very special occasion that we present the limited edition Mclaren 50 12C specially built for Hong Kong.” The McLaren Special Operations (MSO) and McLaren Automotive design team joined hands to produce a limited run of 50 models in honour of five decades of race-winning technology and expertise. It also gets special carbon fibre, colour-coded lower bumper and the race-derived carbon Kevlar front floor highlighted with an exclusive black McLaren F1-inspired heritage badge on the bonnet. A McLaren 50 logo is displayed on both carbon fibre turning vanes which are found behind the bespoke 50 Ultra Lightweight wheels finished in Satin Black. Braking power gets enhanced by carbon ceramic brake upgrade.
The interiors get a full leather upgrade, subtle branding to the carbon fibre sill panel, while the floor mats get an anniversary dedication plate on the driver’s door sill to highlight the limited run of this car.
The car is priced at HKD 46,80,000 (Rs 3.76 crore).
