If you thought that the upcoming Mahindra Scorpio for 2014 had just minor changes, hold on. These pictures might make you rethink .These new spy pictures posted by Motor Vikatan show the prototype of the Mahindra Scorpio in a completely camouflaged avatar, proof enough that Mahindra is looking to change much more than just the headlamps or the tail lights.
The front grille of the car has been extremely well hidden with black and white stickers and additional clothing. This clothing extends from the bonnet to the bumper and the sides as well. The side and the rear of the SUV are also disguised with the same stickering. The spy-photographers report that the vehicle has increased dimensions as well. The Scorpio might get a new dashboard with changes to the instrument panel as well. However, there are no details available if there are any changes to the mechanical bits.
Another prototype of this upcoming Scorpio was spied with emission testing equipment a few days ago. So we can expect the carmaker to bring a lot more changes to the SUV than just mere cosmetic changes. Mahindra might launch this facelifted version of the Scorpio in the first half of 2014.
