The TataNano will get the much needed power steering which is being developed for it by ZF. It will be launched on January 15, 2014 and will be dearer by Rs 15,000 than the current top-end variant. There are no details on whether it will have a hydraulic unit or an EPS. It will be called the ‘Nano Twist’.
The Nano has a great turning radius, it quite literally turns on a dime, but the experience was not effortless. There seems to be no more changes except power steering. The Twist will be powered by the same 624cc twin cylinder engine with an output of 37bhp and 51Nm.
Tata launched the Nano emax which runs on CNG and the next in line is the Diesel variant. The Nano would also feature a proper openable hatch soon. Nano sales are at an all time low; hopefully this addition would change that. Questions arise on how it feels? We will give all the details after we twist the keys of the Nano.
