It was just was two months ago that Tata refreshed eight models in its line up and unveiled them along with its Horizon Next Strategy at a function held on its factory premises outside Pune. However, this refresh did not include the Sumo Grande and the Aria. Now Team-bhp has managed to get pictures of the former testing outside the Indian automaker’s plant in Pimpri near Pune.
The facelifted car gets significant styling updates and seems to be longer but retains the same overall design. Changes to the SUV include a revised grille, a front bumper applique, blacked out window lines running the length of the vehicle and new reflectors on the tail lamp. What has been captured is the top-end GX variant.
However, the lack of alloy wheels is a sign that there are more changes to car that what we can see right now. There is currently no information available on changes to the oily bits or the interiors. However, the latter is likely to get major set updates much like the rest of Tata’s models during the event in June.
It is likely that Tata will showcase the facelifted Aria and the Sumo Grande either during the festival season or at the 2014 Auto Expo next February.
