Hyundai to introduce minor changes on the Verna

Hyundai’s highly successful Verna sedan is all set for a minor upgrade. The Korean auto manufacturer will add a few details to its existing features both in and out in an effort to improve the already feature loaded Verna.

The changes to the interior include back-lit buttons for the power windows and the steering mounted controls along with a two headrest rear seat in place of the current three headrest assembly.

The top on the line Verna may also get a new set of alloy wheels while the spare tyres will ditch the alloy wheels for steel ones in an effort to keep cost at bay. DRLs similar to the ones featuring on the i20 are also expected to make their way into the list of minor additions.

The new model is expected to hit the markets soon, in time for the festive season. The gloomy auto market is expected to brighten up from September and auto manufacturers including Hyundai are lining up their arsenal to attract possible buyers and the minor update is a sensible move in that front as the costs for the changes will be minimal while being evident.
