The interiors of the BMW 2 Series Coupe have been spied by the team at Autoblog. The car has been spotted testing across Europe in both coupe and convertible forms and once launched is expected to replace the 1Series coupe.
According to Autoblog, the car has got a much cleaner interior design than that of the 1 Series and this is evident by the reduction in the number of buttons on the centre console. There is also some revisions to the overall design theme.
The seats have been trimmed out in the combination of cloth and suede with the same being carried over to the doors as well. The 2 Series is also expected to get better iDrive system that will be operated via a huge screen that sits on the middle of the centre console. From the pictures we can also see that the 2 Series gets the German automaker’s fuel efficient Ecopro system.
The 2 Series is expected to get the same set of mills and gearboxes as the 1 Series and will most likely debut next year.
