- 10 million Mustangs on the road
 - 10 millionth car made is a GT convertible with a V8
10 million cars is a big number especially when you are talking about a performance muscle car like the Ford Mustang. To celebrate the occasion, Ford invited 60 Mustang owners representing each generation of the ponycar to celebrate the 10 millionth car at its Flat Rock, Michigan, assembly plant.
The 10 millionth Mustang is a GT convertible model finished in Wimbledon White to honor the first serialized 1964 1/2 Mustang. Like the first Mustang, the 2019 Mustang GT gets a V-8 engine and manual transmission.
Even after 10 million cars built, the Mustang is still America's best-selling sports car, according to Ford's analysis of vehicle registrations. With a variety of variants on offer right from V6's to supercharged V8's and not to mention track specials as well, there is a Mustang for every kind of sportscar enthusiast. Launched in India recently, the Mustang is enjoying popularity on Indian shores as well.
