India’s biggest biennial car and bike convention will return with a bang on February 7. Despite what has been 12 months of financial difficulties and constant price fluctuations (mostly upward), 2013 saw much in terms of exciting launches across various segments and the Auto Expo is expected to be no less. With a confirmed participation from all major manufacturers, we can expect at least some new launches, unveilings and also concepts displaying future technology.
The 2014 Auto Expo or as it known by its official name- 12th Auto Expo 2014 ‘The Motor Show’- has moved from its original location at Pragati Maidan and will take place at India Expo Mart in Greater Noida from the February 7 to 11. Tickets have already gone on sale for the motoring show and can be purchased online via BookMyShow. They have been priced in the range of Rs 200 to Rs 500 for various slots. Along with the Auto Expo the 12th edition of the Auto Components Show will be held in the NCR; however, AICMA will continue to host the event at the old venue in Pragati Maidan.

We are expecting major launches from the big players like Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai Motor India, Tata Motors, Toyota, Renault and Mahindra Motors. On the higher side, Mercedes-Benz is expected showcase the GLA Crossover and the CLA sedan while its immediate rival Audi will bring the 2014 Audi A8L and obviously its CLA rivalling A3 Sedan.
